Process

Asparagus are harvested in the field twice daily and transported to the processing plant. Once they arrive, the asparagus are washed and cleaned by passing them through pressurized showers on a conveyor belt. They are then separated by quality and caliber. After calibration, the spears are bundled, and the base is trimmed to ensure uniform length of all stems. Next, the bundles are packed into boxes designed to meet the requirements of each client. These boxes are then sealed and marked indicating the caliber they contain.

The next step in the process is hydrocooling, which is followed by storing the boxes in a cold chamber. The boxes are palletized according to the caliber, and they remain in the chamber until the time of shipment. This entire process ensures that the asparagus is of high quality and meets the requirements of the clients.
